Fort Tryon Park is a public park located in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, New York, USA. Built by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., in 1935, and gifted to the city of New York by John D. Rockefeller in 1917, Fort Tryon Park remains one of the most beautiful outdoor pieces of art in New York. Parkgoers can picnic, run, play, enjoy beautiful flowers, birds, woodchuck, skunk, river view, and the historic architecture.

Fort Tryon Park is also site of The Cloisters, a branch of the Metroplitan Museum of Art devoted to mediveal art and culture.
